Corks and Forks Tasting Tour
Each year I join 13 women from the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest to participate in the 26.2 with Donna in Jacksonville, a marathon and half marathon to "end" breast cancer. We "Traveling TaTas" ranging in age from 50's-70's, rent a house near St. Augustine and are always looking for fun outings. Several years ago we did the Corks and Forks Tasting Tour and had so much fun we decided to do so again. This year was absolutely stellar!! Dawn was an incredible host as she shared the history of St Augustine with us and added to the laughter and lively spirit of our group. She was informative and gave us time at each restaurant to truly enjoy ourselves and take in the unique flavors and atmosphere. Starting with the champagne toast to ending with the ice cream sandwich samples at Piece of Pie, we ate, drank, learned a bit of history, and laughed our way through the afternoon. This tour was the perfect way to begin our visit! On behalf of the Traveling TaTas, thank you Dawn for such an amazing experience. We hope our paths cross again....Ta Ta for now
