ATTIRE:Nice casual attire is requested, similar to what you would wear for an upscale lunch outing. While we understand that you may be on vacation, we kindly ask that you leave your flip flops, tank tops, short shorts, torn jeans, and beach attire at home.
HISTORY:While we'll sprinkle in a bit of history and sightseeing, please note that our tour primarily focuses on the vibrant culinary scene. Get ready to indulge your taste buds and explore the city's delicious offerings!
STROLLING TOURS:St. Augustine is pedestrian-friendly, with walking being one of the best ways to enjoy the charm of the beautiful city. However, please keep in mind that the historic district has a number of uneven, cobblestone streets and sidewalks. If walking is a concern, we recommend our riding experiences (St. Augustine only).
Most of our routes cover a total of 1 mile or less, with venue stops in-between, that are generally 20-25 minutes in length. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Please communicate wheelchairs and scooters, when booking. Some restaurants require the navigation of several steps and sitting at high tables. ROLLING TOURS:The ability to climb in and out of the vehicle is required. Much like a car, you must be able to step up into and also lift yourself into the vehicle. (St. Augustine only)
AMOUNT & TYPE OF FOOD:Food portions are plenty for a nice size lunch or dinner including dessert. We recommend an early breakfast or late dinner reservation - which may or may not be needed.
Each tour is unique, as destinations rotate, according to restaurant availability, seasonal changes, and group size. We will visit at least FOUR per tour. A sample of the food themes you may enjoy: Italian, Polish, Spanish, Farm to Table, Greek and much more. Check out the list of our current St. Augustine venue partners to see who may be featured on any given tour. WEATHER:Tours are held rain or shine. Please dress accordingly and bring an umbrella, if the forecast shows rain. Tours may be rescheduled based on SEVERE conditions, such as a hurricane! Guests will be notified in advance if we need to cancel or reschedule a particular tour.
However, if you drink enough wine and you won't even notice the weather! SHOPPING:We kindly request that out of consideration for other tour guests, shopping be postponed until after the tour is complete. This helps us maintain our schedule and ensures that everyone enjoys a seamless and delightful experience. Once the tour concludes, you're more than welcome to explore the venues included on the tour and discover more of what St. Augustine and/or Jacksonville has to offer.
