Our tours combine delicious food and drink with a taste of St. Augustine's history. Along the route, you'll enjoy views of historic sites, local landmarks, and charming streets while learning fun facts about the city. While sightseeing is certainly part of the experience, our primary focus is showcasing the area's outstanding culinary scene. Get ready to indulge your taste buds and explore the city's delicious offerings! HOW FAR DO WE WALK ON THE STROLLING TOURS?St. Augustine is pedestrian-friendly, with walking being one of the best ways to enjoy the charm of the beautiful city. However, please keep in mind that the historic district has a number of uneven, brick-lined streets and sidewalks. If walking is a concern, we recommend our EV riding experiences (St. Augustine only).
Most of our routes cover a total of 1 mile or less, with venue stops in-between, that are generally 20-25 minutes in length. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Please communicate wheelchairs and scooters, when booking. Some restaurants require the navigation of several steps and sitting at high tables. HOW FAR DO THE ROLLING TOURS COVER?One of the unique advantages of our rolling tours is the ability to venture beyond St. Augustine's Historic District. Guests enjoy a comfortable ride through some of the city's most interesting neighborhoods, passing historic landmarks, waterfront vistas, hidden gems, and local attractions that are often overlooked by traditional sightseeing experiences. This expanded route also allows us to feature a wider variety of restaurants, eateries, and culinary destinations, creating a truly immersive way to experience the culture, history, and flavors of St. Augustine.
The ability to climb in and out of the vehicle is required. Much like a car, you must be able to step up into and also lift yourself into the vehicle. (St. Augustine only) HOW MUCH FOOD DO WE EAT? WHAT TYPE OF FOOD DO WE EXPERIENCE?Each tour is unique, as destinations may rotate based on restaurant availability, seasonal menu changes, special events, and group size.
Most of our tours follow a progressive dining format, allowing guests to enjoy a seated tasting experience at each stop while making their way through the city. Guests will visit a minimum of four venues per tour, with food and beverage pairings that collectively equate to a satisfying lunch or dinner, including dessert. A sample of the culinary themes you may enjoy includes Italian, Spanish, Greek, Polish, Southern, farm-to-table, seafood, and more. We encourage you to view our current St. Augustine venue partners to see some of the local establishments that may be featured during your experience. The exception is our Taste of St. Augustine Tour, which features a non-progressive, "taste-as-you-go" format. Guests visit seven locally loved venues, enjoying a variety of signature bites and specialty samples along the way while exploring the sights, flavors, and charm of St. Augustine. This experience is designed to showcase a wider variety of local favorites in a more casual tasting format. WHAT IF IT RAINS? ARE THERE ANY WEATHER CONTINGENCIES?Tours are held rain or shine. If it looks like rain in the forecast, please bring an umbrella and wear appropriate shoes to navigate the brick-lined streets. We are happy to provide a rain poncho.
Tours may be rescheduled based on SEVERE conditions, such as a hurricane! Guests will be notified in advance if we need to cancel or reschedule a particular tour. However, if you drink enough wine and/or cocktails...you won't even notice the weather! DO WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOP ON THE TOUR?We kindly request that out of consideration for other tour guests, shopping be postponed until after the tour is complete. This helps us maintain our schedule and ensures that everyone enjoys a seamless and delightful experience.
